2. Information We Access (and What We Do With It)
With your explicit permission, the Orbit application accesses the following data on your local device solely for the purpose of generating relationship insights:
- Contacts: We read names, company information, and basic contact details to build your network graph and identify attendees for meetings.
- Calendar (EventKit): We read event titles, dates, attendees, and meeting notes from the past 12 months to analyze interaction frequency, identify key topics, and generate context briefs.
3. Data Processing & Security
- On-Device Processing: All data analysis, connection scoring, and semantic search (Natural Language Search) are performed locally on your device using the Apple Neural Engine and Core ML.
- No Collection: We do not collect, export, upload, store, or share any of your contacts, calendar data, or personal notes. Your data remains on your iPhone.
- Security: Data stored locally by the app is secured by your device’s native encryption mechanisms (provided by iOS).
4. Information We DO NOT Collect
The Orbit application is designed not to collect:
- Your name, email address, or device identifiers.
- Usage data related to your interactions with other individuals.
- Location data.
